Cheddar is dog friendly. All well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome.

Those with severely restricted mobility or who are wheelchair dependent will find much of Cheddar Gorge & Caves inaccessible including the caves, the Cliff-top Walk and the Lookout Tower.
Cheddar Gorge and Caves welcomes visitors with disabilities. Visitors who are able to provide evidence of a disability (e.g blue/orange badge or similar) will be entitled to bring an essential companion free of charge per individual Cheddar Gorge & Caves Day Ticket purchased. Additional carer tickets are available upon request - please contact our guest services team on [email protected] once you have made your booking.
If you have purchased an Armed Forces, Emergency Services or Corporate Partner ticket, please bring proof of ID with you when you visit (Military ID, DDS card, NHS ID, Police ID or Fire Service ID Card or proof of current employment and photo ID. Please note we no longer accept the Blue Light Card as ID).
